Its that time of year again. Each year it seems to come around quicker, but as amateur football gets more and more competitive, the players and coaches have to get fitter and fitter!
After a disappointing year for the seniors in 2011, we are looking to improve in several areas, in particular, skills and fitness.
Pre season sessions will be run on Monday and Wednesday nights from 6pm. We will be meeting at Hislop Reserve on Balwyn Rd. For those of you who don’t love running, rest assured there will be brand new footys out from day 1 with skills a big focus for the pre Xmas sessions.
With a new coach and new ideas, I for one am really looking forward to a big 2012, starting Monday.
All new players are welcome, simply turn up with your runners and introduce yourself. Everyone is welcome at the Hawks Nest.
