All players need to keep this weekend free as we are playing 2 practice matches against ex hawk Joe Murphy’s footy club - Lalbert.

THE CLUB IS FULLY PAYING FOR A 55 SEATER BUS & ACCOMODATION.

We will be leaving Rathmines early - 6:30 am on the Saturday morning for the drive to Swan Hill & playing against Lalbert at their ground - 2 games, reserves & seniors.

Your drinking shoes are a must as we will be hitting Swan Hill for a night on the gas - a excellent opportunuty to get to know your new team mates.

Committee, support staff & supporters are encouraged to attend.

Sunday will see the eskys packed for the drive home…permission gained to drink on the bus!

Knotty will be confirming players who can make it over the next week or so.

We have had confirmation from the council that we can now use Rathmines Reserve on Monday nights.

This is a massive boon for the club, and will provide some invaluable training experience on our home ground.

New players more than welcome.

Training for the rest of pre-season is now as follows:

Monday nights:

Rathmines Rd Reserve, Rathmines Rd, Hawthorn East.
6.15-8.00pm
Runners only (no footy boots)

Wednesday nights:

Gordon Barnard Reserve East, enter off Belmore Rd, just east of Balwyn Rd (entry to Balwyn pools, drive past the pool, carpark on your right hand side)
6.15-8.00pm
Runners only (no footy boots)

Friday nights

Boxing night - Visions Gym, Burwood Rd Hawthorn.
6pm start then off to the Elgin Inn afterwards (bring your own gloves (about $20 from KMart))

Wednesday Night Training – Gordon Barnard Reserve (East Oval) Balwyn – enter from Belmore Rd via the swimming pool car park.
Melways 46 E4. *This will be the Wednesday night venue for the remainder of pre-season unless instructed.

6:15pm start.

This Friday night (05/02) – Boxing Night - @ Aikicenter – 44 Lynch St, Hawthorn
The boxing session will fully be paid for by the footy club.

Located behind Burwood Rd – close to the Elgin Inn.

6:00pm start – meet at Aikicenter
